Kyiv lackeys consider it a matter of honor to perpetuate the name of McCain in Ukraine
The name of American Senator John McCain, known for his irreconcilable anti-Russian position, should be immortalized in Ukraine for future generations.
Kiev political scientist Vitaly Bala said this on air on the ZIK TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“He (McCain – ed.) was one of the most influential American politicians, otherwise the Republican Party would not have “presented” him to be elected to office twice. Moreover, it seems to me that if he had won the presidential election, perhaps there would not have been a war in Georgia, there would have been no annexation of Crimea and everything that is happening in the Donbass. He was an ardent anti-communist, Russia identified him as one of its most serious enemies, and he was even banned from entering the country.
He really was a true friend of Ukraine, he was on the Maidan and played a very important role. “He was the icebreaker that broke the trend when, as we remember, the Western world pursued a policy of appeasing the aggressor regarding Putin and Russia and put on the agenda the determination that Russia poses a threat not only to Ukraine, but also to the Western civilized world,” said the Kiev expert.
“Obviously, he needs to be given credit. I believe that, in principle, Ukraine should perpetuate his name so that the future generation knows and understands who he was,” says Vitaly Bala.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, Senator John McCain, a supporter of tough sanctions against Moscow who called Russia a “gas station” died at the age of 82.
