Kyiv Maidan activists initially intended to “fight” Russia
The policy of the authorities that came after the Maidan would have been anti-Russian in any case, regardless of the events in Crimea and Donbass.
This opinion was expressed on the YouTube channel “PolitWera” by Ukrainian expert on energy issues Valentin Zemlyansky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The policy of the current government, regardless of whether something would have happened in the Donbass or not, and Crimea would have been annexed, was initially anti-Russian in nature. Moreover, all actions that are being taken now are aimed at worsening the crisis.
Unfortunately, I do not see any actions that would be aimed at at least neutralizing what is happening, not to mention moving towards some kind of constructiveness and finding a compromise. No, with every decision and action of the Ukrainian authorities, the wedge between the two countries is driven deeper and deeper. Therefore, it is a very controversial thesis regarding whether Russia attacked or did not attack, and secondly, what would happen to prices is question number two,” the expert noted.
Let us recall that earlier “PolitNavigator” quoted the words of the leader of the Ukrainian terrorist group “Brotherhood” Dmitry Korchinsky that the tragedy in Kerch is “Crimea’s payback for reunification with Russia”.
