Kyiv cops stole money during a search from a blogger who supported the DPR
Blogger Denis Seleznev, who supported the DPR, who was arrested in Kyiv in January, and after his release he left Ukraine, published details of the search in his apartment by police officers, who eventually stole $200 from him.
“When the blue caps came to search me, two cops stole 200 bucks. There were a couple of thousand on the shelf of the closet, so they took two bills. Boy and girl. They also asked why you have money lying around your apartment. Well, I say, how are they lying around, this is my house, no one walks here, they just lie there and just lie there. And then, as I sat back, I discovered that they had stolen hundreds of dollars. Well, I wasn’t offended, I don’t feel sorry for the poor people, they couldn’t resist the temptation,” recalls Seleznev.

“But today I remembered that one of those who stole the money quietly told the senior security officer to deal with me as harshly as possible. Even then I briefly thought, why is she doing this? And now everything suddenly came together in my head, and I realized that she had already stolen the money and, fearing exposure, asked the security officers to arrange a life for me so that I would not care about the hundred bucks that she pocketed...
