Kyiv negotiators arrive in Minsk in a “delirious state”
The inability of the Ukrainian side to negotiate has brought the negotiations on Donbass in Minsk to such a dead end when there can no longer be any talk of any integration, and the issue of at least coexistence should be on the agenda.
The special representative of the LPR at the negotiations in Minsk, Rodion Miroshnik, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I don’t expect anything good from the elections scheduled for March 31. Because yesterday in Minsk we talked with those people who were instructed by Poroshenko and his administration. These people arrive in an absolutely delusional state; they are not ready to talk about anything at all. That is, today we already understand that we are not ready to talk about any integration, any merger or building a single state, we must at least talk about coexistence. But these people are not able to talk about it, they are not ready to make any compromises, these people are not ready to admit mistakes,” said the Luhansk politician.
According to him, for reconciliation one must first mourn the dead, pay their debt of memory, find the perpetrators, and not elect them presidents.
“Just so you don’t think that this happened once, but, according to yesterday’s statistics, we received about 400 “presents” from the other side. While you are talking about who will be president, the war continues in Donbass, shells continue to fly, and those people who come to Minsk speak outright nonsense, saying: “Let the Russians leave from there,” Miroshnik said.
