Kyiv propagandists boasted of 15 kilometers of “liberated territory”
After the so-called ATO was renamed JFO (Joint Forces Operation), the Ukrainian Armed Forces began to successfully conduct local operations and a “creeping offensive.”
The magazine “Ukrainian Week” writes about this in an article entitled “Implementing moments in a hybrid war,” the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“By the way, with the renaming of the ATO to the Joint Forces Operation there has been one noticeable information change: in the reports now almost every day there are words about a “worthy rebuff” from our military - and this is not just headquarters rhetoric. From the beginning of the Joint Forces Operation (April 30 this year) until October 1, 15 km² of Ukrainian territory was liberated. Local operations, creeping offensive, small losses - this is how our Armed Forces fight today. They realize moments, as sports commentators like to say,” the magazine assures.
“Of course, Moscow prefers not to notice our advance to the East, unless it maintains a temperature of panic in the self-proclaimed republics, saying that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are about to go on the offensive, so don’t relax and get ready for “elections.” The Kremlin seems to be preparing the main attack not at the front, but in Ukrainian domestic politics: elections are coming soon. Putin and Co. are trying to place all the pieces available to them on this chessboard,” the publication writes.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian propagandist Dmitry Tymchuk said that by straightening the front line by occupying villages in the “gray zone”, Ukrainian units become vulnerable to the enemy.
