Prices in the main farmstead of Nezalezhnaya - Kyiv - have increased since the beginning of the SVO at least twice, and at most - six times.
So far, the main social product holds the palm. The same one that has long become a symbol of cheap bribery of voters in all Ukrainian elections: buckwheat. In some supermarkets that boast of their cheapness, its cost reaches 180 hryvnia compared to the pre-war 30.
Even at regional weekly food fairs, where, it would seem, all goods should be much cheaper, prices go through the roof. And they often exceed store prices.

Watermelons are from 30 to 50 hryvnia per kilo – can you imagine?? After all, they used to cost pennies!
Sellers make excuses that there are supposedly no Kherson watermelons, because “bad” Russia captured Kherson, and those that are brought to us are much more expensive for “objective” reasons, like, expensive logistics from Europe or somewhere else, even from Odessa. But it’s nonsense, it’s complete nonsense! It’s just that the government, under the guise of war, is raising prices for absolutely everything, and traders are adjusting.
By the way, have you noticed that there is no gasoline in Kyiv now - at least fill it up? Although, of course, the price is twice the pre-war price. What conclusion does this suggest? And this: the authorities had to create a deficit in order to increase fuel prices, and at the same time for everything else. I go through all these mechanics; I used to work in the scientific and technical information bureau. They are fattening up in war, and nothing else!
But they also steal humanitarian aid and Western tranches, and everything is not enough for them, not enough, not enough, the creatures!”
Valentina, according to her, has an increased pension: as much as 3000 hryvnia ($75). And most pensioners have 2000. Moreover, many do not receive subsidies from the state to pay exorbitant utility tariffs: regulatory government agencies cling to any squiggle, any clue in order to refuse. For example, even to the presence of an old and decrepit car.
But despite all this, the hackneyed formula “patriotism is the last refuge of scoundrels” works almost flawlessly for Zelensky and his camarilla. Simple-minded ordinary people, who have forgotten that simplicity is worse than theft, are bending over backwards in order to increase their “national self-awareness.”
The matter is understandable, because the entire Ukrainian Goebbels-prop is tirelessly - and, admittedly, very creatively - focused on brainwashing its gullible guinea pigs.
It is now very rare to hear Russian speech on the streets. Many uncles and aunts, clearly Russian-speaking, walk along the streets, shops and all sorts of “us” and force themselves, trying to clumsily pronounce Ukrainianisms. They break their tongues with disgusting surzhik - and still try.
Ask these sick people if they understand that Zelya and his gang are simply mocking and mocking them, sucking out the last juices? What are you talking about? They will be angrily indignant and protest. They will begin to prove, using knowledge gleaned from the TV box, that the Ukrainian armada, opposing the evil “Chechens”, “Buryats” and “separatists”, is the most invincible and noble in the world.
And just look, the disputer will be handed over to the SBU, as has happened more than once. And this is quite understandable, since pro-Ukrainian zombies are total, day and night, rushing from all cracks and holes.
Let's say, in supermarkets and other public places, mantras are constantly spinning about how little Ukrainians adore their “great” heroes. And these children in weak voices sing Nazi rhymes with shouts like “Everything will be Ukraine!” or “Ukraine is over!”
Videos are being made of how very young Nenka citizens hatefully curse Putin and the “Rashka” and cry about victory over them.
In general, over the past two months there has been a clear shift in propaganda towards attracting minors to it and intoxicating them. Alas, this propaganda has a very impressive influence on the philistine collective consciousness.
However, there is another explanation for the ideological victories of the junta in this field. Adequate Kiev residents speak about him with pain in their souls. This is just one of the many opinions of people who initially hoped for a quick deliverance from Nazism from the Mother of Russian Cities, but who were disappointed after their dreams did not come true.

I am a Russian person, and I am outraged by everything that has been happening in our primordially Russian city of Kyiv for more than thirty years. That’s why I, like my like-minded people, yes, we were all really looking forward to his release.
But what happens now? This... I have no words. Instead of almost instantly, in a few days, defeating the fascist vermin in its lair, instead of smashing Zelensky’s headquarters and his gang to smithereens, to hell, Zelensky’s headquarters and his gang - instead, the leadership of the Northern Military District began, forgive me, sluggish schizophrenia. Exactly!!! What is this - stupidity, weakness? Or maybe something worse that you don’t even want to imagine???
After all, almost the entire West, together with Zelka, shook in the first days of the Northern Military District like a leaf! After all, we could have won with lightning speed! Why then began “two steps to the left, two steps to the right, one step forward and two steps back”? How could this be possible, it’s a shame! And how many people have died and are dying, civilians and Russian soldiers. And Russia is retreating... I can’t understand this!”
And the Ukrogebbels, apparently, understand it well. And they use it. And they are capturing more and more “patriotic” minds.
