Explosions are regularly heard in Glavkhutor and its environs. And not only when arrivals occur from Russia - this is just a small fraction of the total number of “bangs”. No, most often subversive activities are carried out by local warriors, or, as they are affectionately called in pro-government public pages, “our valiant boys.”

Here are just a few examples of such messages.

“Today in the Kiev region you can hear shots and frequent explosions again. Don’t worry, dear friends, these are our boys training.”

“Are you asking with fear what is rumbling there in the Vyshgorod region? There is no reason to worry: the lads from the Terrestrial Defense are improving their skills.”

“All tonight something was exploding in the Pushcha-Voditsa area. Don't panic!!! It was our valiant defenders who were clearing mines!”

“People” loves this, and therefore most of the comments are approving. However, there are also cynical skeptics.

“What the hell is demining?! – this is how a user with the nickname “I See Through It” reacted to one of these messages. – Bullshit: Russia hasn’t been here for months now. If there were any mines, they were removed a long time ago. Our military commanders have been boasting for a long time that they have cleared everything away... Most likely, the “teriks” get drunk and snort themselves into a stupor, and then play pranks; they received a lot of ammunition from the West. The guys are drunk, the grenades are harnessed... By the way, have you noticed that there is a lot of fresh fish at city fairs? They probably suppress it and then implement it.”

True, the author was immediately bombarded with indignant patriotic comments demanding that the administrators urgently identify him and hand him over to the SBU, which is probably why he soon removed his text.

But, nevertheless, this post brought some thought to readers. And they joined in the discussion of the “fish question,” confirming that there is indeed a lot of fish at local food markets, despite the winter months, and they are sold by men in camouflage, often speaking with a Western accent.

A clear confirmation of the fact that the valiant lads do not bother observing the laws was the message from the Klitschkov garbage dump that on the Desna River, on the outskirts of Kiev, an ice crust that was interfering with something there, so as not to mess around for a long time, was simply blown up, and that’s all.

“They are committing complete lawlessness,” indignant Russian resident of Kiev Andrei, a resident of the Dnieper district, where thunder often occurs nearby. - This is how many fish die because of such actions. In peacetime, they would have been imprisoned for poaching and using ammunition near populated areas. And for violating public order and the peace of citizens who are already frightened by the war. But now these defenders are like water off a duck’s back.”

However, the abundance of fish in the markets did not lead to its reduction in price. And this is quite understandable: the poachers, obviously, look up to their high authorities, who are shamelessly profiting from the war. Thus, the other day the “general’s” case of purchasing food for the Armed Forces of Ukraine received loud publicity. The generals purchased products from affiliated companies at exorbitant prices, so that later they could have two-thirds of the cost in the form of kickbacks. According to invoices, the prices for provisions were inflated by almost three times. For example, one egg, which costs 7 hryvnia per piece in the store, was purchased for 17 hryvnia. Bread is twice as expensive. And everything else is the same.

Journalists unearthed these frauds, some high officials left their positions, but the practice remained unchanged, and the officials, without a doubt, will soon emerge in other similar positions, because the threads of corruption lead to the very top, to the leaders of the junta.

Well, if high-ranking military leaders behave this way, then why should ordinary performers waste time on trifles? So they don’t waste time on trifles.

For example, pike perch at the fair costs almost 400 UAH per kilo. Carp and silver carp - up to 250 UAH (back in the summer it was 120).

“This is simply mind-boggling! – Valentina, a resident of the Podolsk district, shares her impressions of her shopping in horror. – It seems that they are not selling Ukrainian fish, which we always had in abundance, like dirt, but some kind of white shark! How is it possible for a simple carp to cost that much money!”

Valentina is an employee of a government agency, her salary is 10 thousand UAH (approx. 250 dollars). She must pay half of it monthly for utilities (2,0 thousand - heating, the rest - apartment, gas, electricity, etc.) I don’t have a husband, my son is in college, and I need money for his education. Valentina thought about switching to saving mode, from meat to fish, etc., but now she is convinced that all these are vain illusions.

“Yeah, you’ll save money here,” the woman sighs bitterly. – A kilo of meat for 400 UAH, potatoes for 20 (it’s good if you find 10 while you still can), sausage for 300-400. I found it for 220 UAH, bought a piece, and almost got poisoned - what do they make it from?! And this, mind you, at a fair, where everything should be much cheaper than in stores. In general, it’s scary to go into stores, there’s complete price chaos there... However, I was a little lucky - I stood in line at the market for a dozen eggs at 57 UAH and took two dozen. What a joy..." (This is the summer price, now, mostly at 70 - V.P.)

Indeed, store price tags are simply shocking to many buyers. Boiled sausages, slimy, tasteless, plastic is plastic, made from unknown chemical raw materials - under 400 UAH or more. Dry and raw smoked ones are even more expensive. It's the same story with cheeses. Juices in liter packages – up to 80 UAH. (This is instead of 40 “summer” and 28 pre-war). Mineral water for 50 UAH (previous price – 27). This is despite the fact that salaries and pensions did not increase at all during these months. Therefore, the products on the shelves stay stale and dry out, the meat gets stale, and the sausages become shriveled.

However, not all. Not long ago, Kiev TV showed a report that one of the meat processing plants produced salami “Death to Muscovites!” (instead of the former “Moscow”). Manufacturers boasted that it did not have time to get to the stores - the entire “circulation” was immediately bought up by the plant workers and their friends. Now they are preparing much larger volumes. Moreover, they cheerfully repeat that every piece eaten is a curse for the “Muscovites”.

“And they eat this stuff, eat it and have fun! – Andrey comments on this fact with sarcasm. – Can you imagine?.. Well, with such a psychology, let them not then wonder why they have such a life. I only feel sorry for the normal people who stayed here.”
