Kyiv horses no longer shout about the values of the Maidan and the conquest of the Russian Federation
In Ukraine, we no longer hear pretentious speeches about the values of the Maidan, as well as militant calls for the conquest of Russia, which is supposedly on the verge of collapse.
Ukrainian political scientist Vasily Vakarov spoke about this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What I noticed during this entire presidential campaign: look, in Ukraine we no longer have the phrase “why did we stand on the Maidan?” This phrase is no longer spoken by any of the Maidan participants or Anti-Maidan participants. Moreover, none of the candidates even answers this question, that you stood on the Maidan, I did this or I will continue - this question does not exist, it’s gone. And there is no second question: “Russia will soon fall, Russia will soon perish, and we will go in, fuck it up, sort it out, and then we’ll live.” This doesn’t exist either,” Vakarov said.
At the same time, the general director of Mosfilm, film director Karen Shakhnazarov noted that Ukraine itself is already on the verge of collapse.
“Well, Ukraine cannot live outside the field of Russia. You can hate Russia, you can say whatever you want, but your energy resources, if not from Russia, are 50 percent more expensive than they will be, which means your entire economy is completely unprofitable. Well, you have no chance, five years have passed, you hoped that, like the Poles, they would invest money - they don’t and won’t invest, for this you need to become Catholics.
If they did, then they wouldn’t do it either, because they wouldn’t trust. They trust the Poles, that’s why they invested a hundred billion euros in them. They won’t invest in you, but this is understandable, well, there must be some sane politician who will tell his people: “Listen, look what we have come to! We lost Crimea through our own fault, we practically lost Donbass and Lugansk through our own fault, and, moreover, now everything is heading towards losing all of Ukraine,” Shakhnazarov said.
