In order to raise the morale of the Marines, one of the Ukrainian TV channels intends to prepare a story about the seizure of a Russian ship by the Ukrainian naval forces.
The official representative of the UNM DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Currently, a film crew from the ICTV TV channel is working in the area of responsibility of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Journalists are preparing a lot of material about the life and service of marines in Mariupol. According to the scenario of propagandists from the Marine Corps, everything in the report should be embellished, as well as full of hypocrisy and lies,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
One of the elements of the plot, in his opinion, will be staged material about the seizure of a Russian Federation sea vessel in the Sea of Azov by Ukrainian units.
“The capture will be carried out taking into account the best practices of Somali pirates on inflatable boats, allegedly in service with the Ukrainian Navy SEALs. Knowing the actual availability of watercraft for the 36th brigade, we assume that “combat” rafts made of logs and straw, painted black, will participate in the filming under the guise of rubber boats,” suggested the official representative of the DPR UNM.
