Kyiv media are already ridiculing Yatsenyuk for chatter on the Maidan
Kyiv, July 28 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who tried to play the role of a bright speaker during the winter Maidan, while at the head of the government, was unable to fulfill the most important promises about the fight against corruption.
The Kiev newspaper “Zerkalo Nedeli” writes about this, noting that the empty treasury could be filled if the authorities, as Yatsenyuk promised, seriously began to shut down dubious schemes.

“Members of the government talked for so long about how much their predecessors stole and what prosperity would come if they returned the loot and plugged the cracks through which treasury revenues flowed... but did the fiscal service close those very cracks and schemes or simply take them into account?” – the publication says.
The Yatsenyuk government has not demonstrated successful reforms, the newspaper states.
“Where are the promised reforms? The ideas of freezing social payments, further redistributing the budget in favor of security forces, and also “knocking out” EU assistance programs with economic reforms, with all due respect, are not...
When will government spending become transparent? No publication of treasury expenses appeared online, and an attempt to reform the public procurement system immediately ran into the need for procurement without tenders for the needs of the security forces,” writes Zerkalo Nedeli.
“The war is dragging on, and all the new cripples and “200 loads” are making the fight against terrorism a less popular action every day... It makes sense to remain “in white”, resigning in advance, before the autumn offensive of the masses began under the slogans of “Bread and Work” , the publication predicts.
