The Kyiv media are alarmed: the Poles are becoming increasingly irritated by Ukrainian migrant workers and students
Not only do the Poles not like the glorification of Bandera’s followers in Ukraine today, but “many in Poland are beginning to be annoyed by the increasing presence of Ukrainians in their country,” writes the Kiev magazine “Focus”, noting that up to a million Ukrainian citizens study and work in Poland today

“Many Poles are convinced that long-term zloty seekers from Ukraine are taking it away from the locals,” the publication emphasizes. “Several attacks on Ukrainian migrant workers in places of their compact residence have already been recorded.”
The publication also says that Ukrainian students, who were previously treated with sympathy, began to irritate the Poles, since they entered Polish universities and paid for their studies during the general demographic crisis in Poland.
“Historical discussions in this context only fuel the tension: why should we help supporters of “Banederism” or “why is he studying here instead of fighting in the east?” writes Focus.
