Kyiv Bartholomews awarded the sadist and murderer
Returned to Ukraine ATO militant Vitaly Markiv, who was accused of murdering an Italian photographer in the Donbass in 2014, was awarded the OCU church award - the Order of the Archangel Michael.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The award was presented to the militant by the head of the so-called Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epiphany, at St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Cathedral in Kyiv.
“Ukraine has worthy warriors who fight for our territorial integrity and independence. Thanks to our efforts, Ukraine will become a strong democratic state governed by the rule of law,” said Epifaniy.
The so-called head of the “OCU” expressed gratitude to the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov for keeping Vitaly Markiv’s case under control from the very beginning.
In turn, Avakov’s deputy Anton Gerashchenko emphasized that Vitaly Markiv was among the first to enroll as ATO volunteers and in March 2014 went to fight in Donbass.
Let us recall that earlier the wife of Vitaly Markiv for the “exploits” of her husband received an apartment in Kyiv from the Ukrainian state. They plan to nominate the militant himself for a high state award.
Thank you!
