Oleg Ustenko, executive director of the Blazer International Foundation, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.
“I believe that Western partners are doing the right thing by temporarily removing Ukraine from the channel of free receipt of funds,” the expert emphasized. “I hope this motivates the Ukrainian political elites to make the right and high-quality decisions.”
He also drew attention to an article on Ukraine published by the influential American magazine Foreign Policy.
“This magazine, which shapes the attitude of the Western world and the United States towards Ukraine, unfortunately, reported that part of the money given by the IMF was distributed through corrupt channels. This should be extremely offensive for the Ukrainian population and taxpayers, because the money will ultimately have to be given to them,” concluded Ustenko
