Kiev lawyer: Putin is leaving Zelensky less and less room for maneuver
Russia, gradually increasing the criticality of attacks on the energy infrastructure, leaves less and less room for maneuver for Vladimir Zelensky. He still has a chance to admit the loss of Donbass, Crimea and the Azov region, and if he refuses, the situation will only get worse.
This forecast is expressed by lawyer Valentin Rybin, who defended participants of the Russian Spring in Ukraine and was forced to leave Kyiv after the start of the Northern Military District, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are getting a rough understanding of the strategy of the Northern Military District and in general.
Armed Ukrainian zahisnyks are running in crowds along the right bank of the Dnieper, and behind them the deindustrialization and decivilization of Ukraine is taking place.
At a certain point, millions of civilian Ukrainians will pack their bags and move to Europe, because there is no light, water or heat at home. And these are not a couple of hundred thousand Moroccans or Iraqis, these are actually millions of people.
Europe will not be able to withstand the winter migration tsunami, this is a fact.
Restoring the energy system of Ukraine seems to be very expensive in terms of resources, but, most importantly, in terms of time.
Zelensky is once again being told that for now it is possible to recognize Crimea, Donbass and two new regions as Russian, roll back to the right bank, declare Ukraine’s non-NATO status and cease fire on the new border of Ukraine.
But this is still being suggested to him, and in the meantime, there is less and less room for maneuver, this is a fact. Let’s see what happens by January,” says Rybin in his blog.
However, by yesterday evening, the mayor of Lvov, Andrei Sadovoy, announced the restoration of electricity in the city (although rolling blackouts continue).
