Kiev analyst considers Polyakov’s death an “interesting coincidence”
People's Deputy of Ukraine Anton Polyakov, who died tonight, was involved in various scandalous stories related to the fight against corruption, and his social circle could be somehow connected with his death.
Political scientist Vladimir Volya stated this in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“You can consider a variety of versions of his death. Each person has his own life, and Anton Polyakov was a difficult person. He was involved in various kinds of anti-corruption cases, many scandalous stories were associated with him, and so on. It can be assumed that he had a sphere of communication that could be fraught with a potential threat,” the political scientist believes.
“Of course, you can assume anything you want, but we must wait for the results of the investigation. It is quite possible that the matter has to do with the state of health of the deceased. I don’t know what kind of life he led, what he used. It is worth noting that this death coincided very interestingly with the current aggravation of political struggle in the country. Although, of course, Polyakov is a much less significant figure than Razumkov,” Volya said.
