The scandalous Kiev businessman and ex-deputy of the Kiev City Council Dmitry Gordon proposed depriving pensioners of the right to vote.

He stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“Now I’ll say something that people will scold me for, but I don’t care. I would generally prohibit pensioners from voting in elections. I would introduce a law that only taxpayers can vote, only people who feed the budget with their money and taxes, because they have a different psychology. Pensioners are starting to sell themselves for buckwheat, they are in a terrible state. I speak from the position of what is best for the state. It is better for the state that only people who pay taxes to the budget vote and elect deputies,” Gordon said.
He added that the participation of pensioners in voting brings to the Verkhovna Rada “a bunch of thieves, foreign representatives, traitors, degraded elements, people who came to earn money.”
“And this is our problem – the degradation of voters. Therefore, when we talk about a bad parliament, we must start with bad voters,” Gordon is sure.
