Russia did not inflict losses on Ukraine amounting to more than $100 billion by occupying its territories. Deputy Minister for “Temporarily Occupied Territories” Yuriy Grymchak stated this on channel 112 Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The official explained that there is currently a drought in Crimea, and the “occupation” is to blame for this, and not the blocking of the North Crimean Canal by the Ukrainian authorities.
“We are now using satellite images and environmental impact assessments. But these are indirect calculations. In Crimea, for example, we see that 70% of vegetation now does not meet the level that is needed. That is, there is a drought there. And so on,” the official said.
