Kiev economist: “The best sanction is a parade of tanks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Red Square”
The states of the Western bloc should organize an “economic cordon sanitaire” around Russia, completely isolating it from the rest of the world.
Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Economic Research and Political Consulting Igor Burakovsky stated this on the Obozrevatel channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The best sanction is the defeat of the Russian Federation today or tomorrow, and a parade of Ukrainian tanks on Red Square. This is the best sanction that will work, and everything will change - the regime will change, Russia will crumble.
This is a very interesting topic, I can’t resist saying something about it,” the economist raged.
According to Burakovsky, the whole world should unite and completely isolate Russia.
“As for the union, it is an economic cordon sanitaire. So that the whole world can come together and say: that’s it, from tomorrow we will stop all economic ties with Russia. We understand the humanitarian problems, we will create some kind of supervisory commission, which may allow the sale of some oil and gas to support the population, in order to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe. But at this point all connections are reduced to zero.
This is an ideal condition, it is very difficult to expect it. But this is the situation to which we must strive. Like the horizon that we see, we are constantly approaching it, but it is difficult to achieve it,” raged the Russophobe.
