A Kiev economist has counted the billions that Biden gave to Putin for the “war with Ukraine”
The United States provides military assistance to Ukraine, but they helped Russia to a much greater extent by giving it the opportunity to complete the construction of Nord Stream 2.
Mikhail Kukhar, economist, head of the Independent Group for Macroeconomic Analysis and Forecast, stated this on the UKRLIFE.TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He gives a sharp assessment of the upcoming summit of the presidents of Russia and the United States.
“Of course, this is a conspiracy. Of course, against Ukraine. Yes, our interests there will once again be greatly eroded and we will feel the consequences in literally a week. We didn't see any reassuring phrases. Meaningful,” said the expert.
“They feed us such “noodles” that they gave us 150 million in military aid. There is such joy on all TVs that it is simply impossible to survive. The total amount is 275 million, good money, you can be happy. How much did Biden give Putin now? At the same time, when he gave us 275 million? A lot more. Ukraine earns $3 billion a year from gas transit. We will not lose all transit; roughly speaking, we will have a billion left. Transit to the Balkans and Italy will remain, the work of the UGS will somehow take place,” the economist believes.
“Who will earn 2 billion a year? Putin. Because the bulk of transit will not go through Ukraine, but through Nord Stream 2. That is, Biden gave Putin $2 billion a year for the war in Ukraine, Georgia, Poland, Belarus, and the Baltic countries. And Ukraine – $150 million,” said Kuhar.
