Kiev expert: “Ukraine’s father is the USA, and its mother is Europe”
Ukraine, having abandoned its Russian and Soviet roots, recognized the United States as its “father” and Europe as its “mother.”
Security expert Tatyana Protorchenko stated this on the Internet channel “Echo of Kyiv,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“For quite a long period of history, Ukraine was in the orbit of Russia, like a younger sister. We had Russian citizens in key positions in the defense and security of the country. We were under Russia and dependent on Russia.
Then, instead of self-identifying and building our state the way we want it and on the basis of national interests, we staggered to the West. Therefore, now we have a new father - the USA, and a mother - Europe. We are no longer independent and have become a colony again,” she said.
In addition, the expert noted that Ukrainian politicians, instead of building a state, are lining their pockets.
“We, or rather our political elites, are absolutely unformed, this is a class of untouchables, who are mostly descendants of communists. They are trying to come up with something and pretend that they are building a state, but in reality they are building their own capital.
Therefore, let’s not identify people who consider themselves to be in power and believe in their divine beginning, and adequate people who guess what kind of country they would like to build, they simply don’t have the opportunity,” concluded Protorchenko.
Let us remember that earlier in Kyiv they stated that control over Ukraine completely transferred to Western governments and international organizations.
