Kiev expert: “Prosperity” through unpopular reforms is a cruel and hypocritical myth
Antisocial reforms in Ukraine are carried out not in the interests of people, but in the interests of foreign centers of influence.
Political consultant Vladimir Shevchenko stated this on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The myth that prosperity can be achieved through unpopular reforms is an absolutely provocative thing. It is not true.
The same unpopular reforms in Poland did not lead to rapid development; it was caused by huge injections into its economy, worth tens of billions of dollars, which were borrowed and then forgiven. This is the Polish economic miracle.
All unpopular reforms are reforms of a corrupt nature. All effective reforms must be popular.
We have an oligarchic-bureaucratic state, most of whose centers of influence are located abroad.
And every government, every president that comes, does not fulfill the task of society at all,” the expert concluded.
