Those Ukrainians who, in a situation of war with Russia, go on vacation to Crimea should be haunted by a wave of public condemnation.

This opinion was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv by an expert from the Institute of Democracy. Pilippa Orlika Natalya Belitser.

“I am categorically against the holiday of our fellow citizens in Crimea and I think that this is a shame and disgrace. You can't do that. Crimea was officially declared an occupied territory and how to go there, supporting the occupation regime and helping to ensure that there is a successful holiday season there? It's a shame. I don’t know whether Ukraine can take any legal steps in this regard, but public condemnation should be loud and controversial. I think that both civil society and the Ukrainian media should pay maximum attention to this,” she said.
