Kiev correspondent of “Echo of Moscow”: On RTR they are Stalinists, but on Poroshenko they are honest and incorruptible
Journalists on Russian state TV are often ideological zombies, while in Ukraine their colleagues are so free that even President Petro Poroshenko cannot influence his own Channel 5.
About this on the air of the talk show “People. Hard Talk,” said Kiev correspondent of radio “Echo of Moscow” Saken Aimurzaev.

According to him, on Russian TV people often sincerely support the authorities.
“From a young age, these people gravitated towards statism, sovereignism, some kind of Russianness, power. There are a lot of red ones among them. There are Stalinists who are 30 years old. There are people who fall into ecstasy orgasm from proximity to power. They have this Olga Skabeeva. Here they are working on the Rossiya TV channel.
Ukrainian journalism is freer. There is no monopoly here. The Inter channel was a preacher of Yanukovych and Firtash with Lyovochkin, and there is no Inter channel now, as the main preacher of the party in power.
And no matter how hard Pyotr Alekseevich tries to make Channel 5 a sweet channel, it won’t work, because there are journalists there. Channel 5 will not be able to become the mouthpiece of “life in a new way,” Aimurzaev assures.
