Kiev millionaire: “I renounced my native language. But victory is not in sight"
Many Ukrainians will not live to see the end of the war, victory in which is not yet in sight.
Ukrainian dollar millionaire Vsevolod Kozhemyako, who was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine and is on the Forbes list, stated this in an interview with Kyiv journalist Dmitry Gordon, who is notorious for PR charlatans and anti-Russian propaganda.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, Kozhemyako boasted that he had renounced his Russian origin and switched “to the language.”
“I am three-quarters Russian, and I am Russian-speaking. That is, I was born into a Russian-speaking family, I spoke Russian all my life, I became Ukrainian-speaking about six months ago. This is a conscious decision of mine because I think it is very important. It is very important in the sense that we must be different from the enemy. Although I have been in this topic since I was 14, I believed that the guys in the trenches spoke Russian and could defend the country.
But if you rewind this and look more strategically, if we had worked with the introduction of the language since Ukraine gained independence, perhaps nothing would have happened, I mean the war,”
“I think that victory will not come soon, realistically. I don’t think it will happen quickly - firstly, and secondly, many of us will not see it. But we have no other choice, we must do what we do,” Kozhemyako said.
