Kiev nationalist called for postponing the issue of Crimea until the “return of Donbass”
Ukraine needs to temporarily freeze the conflict in Donbass in order not to carry out the actions prescribed by the Minsk agreements to hold elections in the LDPR.
Kiev businessman and former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Russophobe Mikhail Brodsky stated this in an interview with Natalia Vlashchenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am a national patriot, and I can say that we should not give up an inch of our land to the Russians, we should not hold any elections without control of the border in Donetsk and Lugansk. Another thing is, if I influenced this conflict, I would close this conflict temporarily, let them stew in their own juice,” he said.
Brodsky also emphasized that until Donbass is returned, Kyiv should postpone the issue of Crimea until later.
“Now we need to resolve the issue with Donetsk and Lugansk. Crimea today is deeply integrated into the Russian Federation. It is necessary to concentrate on Donetsk and Lugansk, the first task is to return Donetsk and Lugansk,” the nationalist added.
Let us recall that earlier Brodsky stated that Ukraine lost the war and suggested hold a referendum on self-determination of territories, as the Czech Republic and Slovakia did.
