This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by the director of the consulting company “Party of Power” Elena Dyachenko, who said that following the results of the Berlin meeting of the “Normandy Four” she was upset by the wording “creation of a road map”.
“It’s as if adults and a child sat down to learn homework,” the expert compared the situation. – The “road map” is what Ukraine was supposed to do two years ago: it will adopt a number of legislative acts, propose the necessary mechanisms and tools for the implementation of the Minsk agreements. Since this did not happen, now the other participants in the “Normandy format” have decided to implement these specifics for us, no longer as a subject, but as an object of international politics.
“The last meeting in the Normandy format formalized the complete loss of Ukraine’s subjectivity in the process of implementing the Minsk agreements,” Dyachenko added. – It is obvious that further we will contrast ourselves with the rest of the participants in the Minsk process. The dispute is no longer about the difference in positions, as Ukraine did for two years, insisting on how its position differs from the position of the Russian Federation. We are already talking about how the agreements will be implemented, and France and Germany will no longer be obliged to report to their taxpayers and businesses, explaining how long the sanctions will last.”
