In recent years, the economic situation of Ukraine has deteriorated so much that it can now be compared with Somalia and other African countries, and the comparison will not be in favor of “Nezalezhnaya”. Political scientist Kost Bondarenko said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, while the Ukrainian economy was rotting, hundreds of billions of dollars were poured into the African economy.

“Africa has taken several steps forward. Moreover, most African countries today, in terms of social, economic, and so on, are already beginning to overtake Ukraine. When we start talking about Africanization, we talk about it very tentatively, because we imagine Africa in the 60s and 70s, but not today. There, over the past five years, China has pumped $640 billion into the economies of African countries alone. There are completely new processes taking place in Africa. As for Ukraine, unfortunately, today even when we talk about Somalia, we can say that in Somalia today the GDP is higher than in Ukraine, or rather the GDP growth processes are higher than in Ukraine,” Bondarenko said.
