Kiev political scientist: What is more important to us is not refugees, but a mess with a trident
In Ukraine, the problem of refugees has long been brewing; there are already twice as many refugees in Western Ukraine as there were in the spring, and as winter approaches, their number will only grow.
Kiev political scientist Yuri Romanenko, who is wanted in the Russian Federation for calls to kill Russian journalists, stated this in a video blog of Ukrainian journalist Roman Tsymbalyuk, who worked in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Many people are under the illusion that we have already won. But while the guns are blaring, it’s too early to say that the fact of victory is obvious. The war became protracted. Yes, it could end in November with a truce, there are already rumors about this, but in the same way there were rumors about a truce in early April, then in early May.
“Servants of the People” were already preparing to hold elections almost in June, then this date shifted to September. But this does not answer the fundamental question: how will we crawl to this victory, with what kind of economy? We are now entering the winter heating period,” the expert said.
“Yesterday I wrote about refugees and about the fact that yesterday this fight about the trident, it shows all the absurdity. This situation is both funny and tragic, tragicomic.
The same thing is about priorities, when we cannot indicate what is a priority and what we need to direct efforts towards, we spend all the enormous energy of our society trying to find out whether a trident is like this or not, true or false, whether there is a sexual connotation or not. . Instead of focusing on the refugee problem.
This will be a disaster in winter for refugees, because in Lutsk there are already 2 times more refugees than there were in the spring, and they are not equipped, people have no housing,” Romanenko is indignant.
