Political scientist Vladimir Fesenko, close to the Ukrainian presidential administration, spoke about potential risks for Ukraine from the election of Trump, and recognized the need to change tactics in relations with the United States.

“I think that the partnership between the United States and Ukraine will continue. Another thing is that due to Trump’s unpredictability, as well as his potential attempt to reach an agreement with Putin, and, most likely, this will happen, potential risks may arise for us. There is a risk for us if Trump and Putin suddenly agree on something. But this is not a disaster. I'm not inclined to panic. The main thing for us now is that as soon as it becomes clear who will deal with the Ukrainian issue in the Trump administration, we establish contacts with these people and involve all the friends of Ukraine in the Republican Party. There is no need to panic – you just need to change tactics and look for channels of communication with the new administration,” Fesenko said on TV channel 112.
