Kiev political scientist told when the West will “turn off the tap” to Ukraine
The countries of the Western bloc are quite happy with a protracted conflict in Ukraine, even if it means turning the “Nezalezhnaya” into ruins.
Ukrainian political scientist Taras Zagorodniy stated this on the Alpha Media Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“To constantly ask for something is an infantile position. It is you who will constantly pay with the lives of the color of the nation, which is now dying on the battlefields.
The West is not very happy with the war in this format. They are speeding up their military-industrial complex, solving all their problems, and so on. We are interested in ending the war as soon as possible. The only interest in a speedy end to the war is Ukraine.
And for this, an economy must work, a military economy that allows for the expansion of military production, which in the future and now can become an export product, which will give impetus to the development of many industries,” wrote Zagorodny.
The political scientist noted that Western owners may turn away from Ukraine as soon as they consider further supplies too expensive.
“Without our weapons, we will always be in the role of a supplicant. Sooner or later, even the Americans may ask us a very unpleasant question. Because, let’s be honest, even the hundred billion that the Americans allocated to us this year is also a lot of money for the United States. They have somewhere to put them. That’s why they will always storm and ask,” he concluded.
