A Kiev political scientist spoke about the destruction of the rights of Russian speakers in Ukraine

Political expert Denis Zharkikh stated this on the Internet channel “Echo of Kyiv”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“What is the Ukrainian government doing today, supporting the Ukrainian language? Yes, it does not support any Ukrainian language; even the communists did much more.
The authorities are destroying the communication space, closing the mouths of Russian-speaking citizens and destroying their rights, and there is an attack on the opposition, which supports Russian-speaking citizens.
I can say that there are actually more Russian-speaking citizens than Ukrainian-speaking citizens, and all the statistics are ordinary defamation. There is a certain part of Russian-speaking citizens, 30 percent, who speak only Russian – that’s millions of people. And 70 percent are not Ukrainian-speaking, but bilingual, and purely Ukrainian-speaking people are a minority,” Zharkikh said.
