Kyiv political scientist: The division of Ukraine by its neighbors is quite real
The threat of the collapse of Ukraine during the next coup remains - neighboring states developed similar scenarios many years ago, but did not apply them due to different US policies. Now the American agenda in the European direction has changed and a new division of the continent is quite real.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik said this on air on the First Independent TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is a place to run, actually. Someone will run to Hungary, to Romania. With pleasure. I know that there are models, and back in 14 they calculated how much the integration of certain Ukrainian regions would cost them. They simply did not dare due to different European and American policies. Today this policy has also changed. They will begin to divide the Balkans in a new way, and they may return to the issue of dividing Ukraine. Historically, this has happened several dozen times, unfortunately. The East will run, it’s clear where,” Bortnik said.
