A Kiev political scientist ventured to say that there is no unity of Ukraine
Kyiv, April 11 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The Ukrainian expert community recognizes the dual identity of Ukrainian society.
The director of the Ukrainian Politics Foundation, Kost Bondarenko, said this, in particular, at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, commenting on the laws adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on the decommunization and de-Sovietization of Ukraine.

“Our picture of the past changes depending on who comes to power, and depending on the way of thinking of those who came to power, and on whom they rely,” the political scientist noted. – Our country is a country with double identity, with double consciousness, with double historical traditions and a double understanding of history. This is the minimum, but we can talk about more components. We have no unity. And when representatives of the West or East of Ukraine come to power in Kyiv, their own understanding of history is accordingly imposed.”
