Kyiv political scientist: Ukraine faces a very serious crisis
Another anti-social budget will be adopted in Ukraine, which will lead to dire consequences for the country.
Kiev political scientist Alexandra Reshmedilova stated this on the Ukrlife.tv channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The next budget will be extremely anti-social. They are already all anti-social, although let me remind you that Goncharuk’s budget was called “people-oriented.” But hardly anyone felt that this was really aimed at ensuring that the state fulfilled some social guarantees for citizens. On the contrary, we see a tendency towards a sharp reduction in social services. And again, we understand that there will be no increases in social standards, there will be no changes in the minimum wage,” Reshmedilova noted.
“We can separately recall the epic with the pension fund and the conversations around the fact that people who are about 40 should not count or should already think about their pension and should not expect that they will receive it from the state. This is a very alarming thesis. I think that in this direction, in discussing the social obligations of the state, there will be a lot of discussions. It turns out that even our generation clearly needs to think about the fact that if we want to remain in this state, then how can we build relationships with it,” says the expert.
“Therefore, the “gray” economy, which Getmantsev so often talks about, only indicates that the state is not trusted at the level of not only guarantees, but also simply financial relationships. Starting with those in power, they keep their savings in a cache and do not take it to the bank, do not work with the state at the level of the banking system. The currently officially working population is still filling up the pension fund, and this is such a slowdown in providing even small, meager, inhumanely inhumane pensions to our parents and our grandparents.
But the question is what will happen if this dynamic continues, if the working population en masse goes abroad in search of a better life, and they try to minimize their relations with the state - deductions, tax burden, excise taxes. This suggests that the crisis will come and it will be very, very strong,” Reshmedilova said.
