Kiev political strategist revealed the attitude of the South-East towards Zelensky
Residents of the South-East of Ukraine, who cast their votes for candidate Vladimir Zelensky, are aware that they can only count on a more pragmatic policy, as well as a relative softening of rhetoric and methods.
Ukrainian political strategist Andrei Zolotarev spoke about this in an interview with the Topinform channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The South-East soberly assesses the situation; it sees perfectly well that Zelensky will not make any radical turns towards Russia. There will be no normalization of relations, there will be no fundamental change in relation to Donbass, but the fact that there will be a fraction less humanitarian madness [is a fact] - well, for example, 99 percent of Vyatrovich will fly away from his place. But he will fly away not for those arts with renaming, with decommunization, but will fly away specifically and to the point, because Vyatrovich has turned into a stumbling block in relations between Ukraine and Poland. And, in fact, it will serve it right.
Politics will become a little more pragmatic and will descend to the sinful earth.
They don’t expect much from Zelensky in this regard. Just as they didn’t expect from Tymoshenko, she just had to condescend and clearly articulate that we will not carry out Ukrainization using such radical methods, we will carry out humanitarian decentralization, everything will be European and civilized,” Zolotarev said.
