Kyiv professor: “What invasion?!” Russia doesn't need dirty Ukraine"
Russia will not attack Ukraine because it does not need one of the dirtiest cities in the world - Kyiv and its destroyed industry.
Nikita Vasilenko, a professor at the Institute of Journalism, said this on the Newsone TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Vasilenko, Russia is not going to support the rebellious Ukraine and boost its economy.
“No, of course, in Moscow or St. Petersburg the average person doesn’t even know what’s going on here. This is our parochial solipsism, that we think that we are in the center of the universe, in the center of Europe. No, of course - who wants the dirtiest city in the world, one of the dirtiest cities in the world, one of the ten most polluted cities. Who needs a ruined country with a rebellious population that wants to work, then in Poland. What are you talking about?” said the professor.
“We have long ago, even if there were enterprises here - Russian plants, factories - they would have completely switched to their domestic production, focused on China, Europe - everything except Ukraine. No one will rebuild anything here,” Vasilenko said.
