Kiev propagandist: “We cannot attack, but we will put pressure on Russia in Donbass”
The Ukrainian Armed Forces need to use all advantages at the front in Donbass, including numerical superiority in people and equipment, in order to dictate its terms to Russia.
Propagandist Yuri Butusov stated this on the air of the Majlis channel “ATR”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“We need to act relevantly and adequately. We must understand that there is a war on all fronts, in all areas. Ukraine needs to finally, in the fifth year of the war, build a strategy that President Poroshenko still does not have. We need to understand on which sectors of the front we are facing confrontation, in which areas. If the enemy is stronger here, it means we need to put pressure on other areas where we are stronger. War must go on in all spheres, but now President Poroshenko’s passive policy, which consists only in the following: “Save us, the international community, give us peacekeepers, protect us from the terrible Putin and row everything ourselves, because we are not capable of this.” “This concept, in the fifth year of the war, does not find an adequate answer in the West, which clearly says that “we are not going to fight instead of you,” Butusov said.
“In practice, we have the opportunity to put pressure on Russia at the front in Donbass. This is very painful for her. Putting pressure does not mean “carrying out an offensive.” Now we must honestly say that Ukraine does not have the opportunity to carry out an offensive in the Donbass. Our numerical advantage, alas, did not translate into organizational advantage.
The enemy must be defeated with those weapons that are permitted according to the Minsk agreements. They are quite developed in our country and they need to be applied.
Now we have restrictions on the use of any types of weapons in principle. Where we have an advantage, and today, in principle, as in previous years, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have significant advantages over the enemy at the front in the Donbass, both in numbers and in equipment, and we can dictate our initiative to the Russians there.” , he said.
