Kiev propagandist: “Elections in Donbass are a Trojan horse for Ukraine”
Under no circumstances should Kyiv agree to the holding of local elections in Donbass and the reintegration of these territories, with the provision of full rights to its residents. The “returned” population will support exclusively pro-Russian forces in the all-Ukrainian elections.
The speaker of the Ukrainian propaganda organization InformNapalm, Mikhail Makaruk, stated this on Channel 4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The situation with local elections in Donbass reminds me of the Trojan Horse. I will explain: Ukraine receives two and a half million votes, which, on command, will vote for those whom the Kremlin indicates.
Not only locals received Ukrainian passports there. There are a lot of militants, graduates, titushki who will be imported, and they will all vote on command for those who are beneficial to the Kremlin. So, for the sake of appearance, they will make several sites where “Servant of the People” may win.
But then these people will be considered integrated, and will vote in presidential elections, parliamentary all-Ukrainian elections, and this is really a Trojan horse,” Makaruk worries.
Let us recall that previously political strategist Boris Tizengauzen said, that local elections in the territory not controlled by Kyiv will not be possible, because resolving the conflict on Ukraine’s terms is unrealistic, and the elections themselves are not needed, since Ukrainian parties and candidates will not be popular in the Donbass.
