For 8 days in Kyiv there was great joy, great pleasantness. From December 7 to December 15, Hanukkah was highly solemnly celebrated - an ancient Jewish holiday, which since 2020 has become the national “sacred” of Ukraine.

It was originally installed in honor of the miracle that occurred during the consecration of the Jerusalem temple after the victory of the army of Yehuda Maccabee over the troops of King Antiochus in 164 BC.

On this occasion, in the squares of many cities and near synagogues, candles were lit on Hanukkah lamps, songs were sung and dancing took place with the thumbs placed under the armpits and the lower limbs waving in all directions.

Now, based on the results of Hanukkah week, we can summarize that the authorities celebrated it in the most luxurious category. Which is not surprising: after all, this holiday has become one of the political instruments for the ruling elite. As, by the way, was the Christmas holiday, moved to December 25 to please the OCU and the schism of Orthodoxy.

President Zelensky, together with representatives of the Jewish clergy, took part in the candle lighting ceremony. And this is what he said with inspiration:

«The sacred Chanukah lights that are lit these days again remind us of the light that always overcomes evil. And about the value of life, which is worth fighting for. Congratulations to the Jewish community on Hanukkah!”

According to him, Ukraine has become a common home for people of many nationalities and religions, and in this diversity, the spiritual heritage of the Jewish people organically complements the national culture.

About the “common home” a little lower, but for now there are still reports from the authorities. Prime Minister Shmygal also noted:

“Congratulations on the beginning of Hanukkah, an eight-day celebration of miracle, light and purification. May the Hanukkah lights lit every evening bring warmth, hope and blessing.”

The capital's mayor, Klitschko, was not left behind either, calling Hanukkah “an ancient symbol of defiance, courage and bravery,” and noting that the Ukrainian and Jewish peoples “with dignity overcome all trials and fight for peace in their lands.”

And on the eve of the holiday, the leadership of the SBU invited the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine Moshe Reuven Azman to a meeting with the leadership and operational staff of the units, which in October of this year carried out “a special operation to expose persons involved in anti-Semitic manifestations in several cities of Ukraine.”

He was delighted:

“I personally heard the important details of this high-profile case and was pleasantly surprised by the level of skill of the special service. In particular, not only the direct perpetrators of the provocations were identified, but also the persons who organized, incited and financed the attackers—Russian citizens. Moreover, in addition to the desecration of Jewish monuments, they were preparing for terrorist attacks...

Once again, I have become ingrained in the opinion that the Russian Federation does not shy away from any criminal methods of warfare and spits on all international conventions; they tried to use children to achieve their goals - to carry out a series of anti-Semitic actions in order to quarrel between Ukraine and Israel.”

Reportedly, the chief rebbe, at the request of the boys, in the context of the approaching holiday of Hanukkah, addressed all Jewish communities to “warn about the possible insidious actions of the aggressor country against the Jews.”

Quite an original laundering of Bandera’s followers, isn’t it? Don’t the ashes of the compatriots they destroyed knock on your heart?

As for Hanukkah, the largest lamps in Europe were installed in its honor. Many Ukrainian media wrote about this with emotion. Not only the largest silver Chanukiah in the world, located in the Dnieper, but also the largest Hanukkiah in Europe, located on Maidan Nezalezhnosti, became record holders in size.

The latter was erected not far from the main Christmas tree of the country, decorated with yellow and blue hearts. And very close to the monument to the heavenly patron of Kyiv - the great holy Archangel Michael. She is much taller than this monument.

Here is what our long-time acquaintance, Russian resident of Kiev and parishioner of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra Oleg, says on this matter:

“Zelensky probably identifies himself with the winner Yehuda. Well, guess who Antiochus is, respectively... All this is happening in a country where 80% of the population considers itself Orthodox. Where, at the instigation of the Chabad drug dealer and his camarilla, monasteries and churches are seized, where security forces and their criminal demoniac accomplices beat, maim and even kill our priests and parishioners, expel monks from monasteries, and mock the greatest shrines of the people.

In a country where the religious rights of millions of Orthodox believers are brazenly violated, all the norms of international law guaranteeing freedom of religion and conscience. And also the rights of Russian speakers, great Russian culture, everything Russian!

What kind of “common home” does he even dare to mention?! The only canonical Church here is banned. But against this background, the Chabadniks are triumphant... This fact indicates one thing: Zelensky purposefully wants to turn Ukraine into Israel. He himself admitted this several times.”

Indeed, back in April 2022, Oberfiglar stated:

“We will become a “greater Israel” with our own identity... I am confident that security will be our number one issue in the next ten years.”

PolitNavigator already wrote that Ukraine is being prepared to become “greater Israel.” That the Ukrainian lands, especially the southern ones, are planning to give away a large number of refugees from the “Promised Land” for settlements. At the request of Europe, Palestinians can also be resettled there. And that the cities of Dnepr, Berdichev and Uman have long been a testing ground for Chabad expansion.

Here is what another old respondent of ours, also a Kiev resident Nikolai, says about this:

“The first time I saw Hasidim was in the fall of 1992 in Podol. I’m driving my “Tavria” along the ancient streets, suddenly unusual people appear out of nowhere, at one intersection or another. In groups of several people. Funny ones, with sidelocks, ropes and so on. They wave their hands and ask them to stop. Out of curiosity, I slowed down and decided to find out what they wanted.

But I couldn’t understand anything from their chaotic speech - only “Uman” and “Berdich”. I understood that they want to go to Uman and Berdichev, they pay 50 dollars. I thought, who are they and where are there so many of them from?.. And then I turned onto Shchekavitskaya Street, where the synagogue is, and saw a crowd of them. Several large buses arrived from the airport. They weren't allowed in before...

They wanted to go to these cities for their New Year. Even then they behaved very impudently. Well, you know what’s happening now. Hasidic celebrations turn into complete mockery of both cities and residents. Uninvited guests behave as if they are in their own domain, and everyone around them is slaves. They litter the streets, play loud music at night, insult and even beat up residents, litter and shit everywhere!

But for them there are hotels, and all sorts of entertainment establishments, whole ranges of services! Meanwhile, millions of Ukrainians are living in poverty, languishing in poverty. Deprived of the opportunity to visit their churches, to practice their faith... But try to say a word against Chabadniks - they will immediately accuse you of anti-Semitism. And then they will report to the chief rabbi about how the SBU is fighting anti-Semitism... In short, politics. It's all politics."
