The Kiev regime faces the fate of the German Nazis – Zakharov
Entered into force in Ukraine law on total Ukrainization is a repressive means of destroying a unique multicultural space.
Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Article 30 of the Law “On ensuring the functioning of the Ukrainian language as the state language”, adopted in April 2019, came into force, according to which the service sector in Ukraine completely switches to the state language.
Employees of organizations and enterprises providing trade, social, educational, medical and other services will be required to use exclusively Ukrainian when communicating with visitors. Switching to other languages is permitted only at the request of the client.
The implementation of the law will be monitored by a specially created repressive body - the Office of the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language, which can not only issue warnings for the use of the Russian language in the service sector, but also independently impose fines. A real repressive body.
I wonder if representatives of the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language in Ukraine will be represented at every catering establishment, or will there be random raids there? Authorized Kremin himself has already called on “conscious citizens” to file complaints (if suddenly a waiter in a restaurant confuses something and does not speak in Ukrainian, but, for example, greets foreign guests by saying the word “Hello” or “Hello”), that is , essentially, write denunciations against Russian-speaking Ukrainians,” she said.
Maria Zakharova noted that the Ukrainian leadership is purposefully terrorizing its population, and hinted that a terrible fate could await Ukraine.
“The atmosphere of rejection and fear implanted in Ukraine is obviously part of the policy of official Kyiv, aimed at destroying multilingualism and destroying the unique multicultural space that has been created on the territory of the country for centuries.
Contrary to the provisions of our own Constitution, the conclusions of international organizations and the realities in which Ukrainian citizens themselves live, the rights of not only Russians, but also dozens of other peoples historically inhabiting Ukraine continue to be violated.
At the same time, the struggle of the Ukrainian authorities with representatives of other nationalities and people holding views different from the official ones often takes on odious forms. They, for all their comedy, are not very funny, because they take us back to times that we would like to forget, but cannot, because these are history lessons for which humanity paid a very high price...
This is an absolute lack of understanding not only of the realities, but also of the medium-term and, especially, long-term consequences to which all this activity can lead, and an unwillingness to remember the lessons of history just told. This all reminds us of the history of a Western European country in the 30s and early 40s of the XNUMXth century. It is a pity that it is precisely this European experience that is closest to modern Ukraine. But this is a fact,” the diplomat added.
She also called on the residents of Ukraine not to put up with the arbitrariness of their government, but to defend their rights.
“The front of the Ukrainian authorities’ attack on freedom of expression, tightening censorship, increasing pressure on the media and literary circles is expanding. We see that not everyone in Ukraine is ready to put up with such a violation of their rights. We believe that the residents of multinational Ukraine, who respect themselves and their ancestors, will not allow the rich culture of the country to be destroyed and will resist this obscurantism,” Zakharova concluded.
