The distribution of payment cards with large sums for heat is part of a planned campaign to promote protest sentiments in Ukrainian society.

This was stated in an interview with the Kyiv publication “Gordon” by sociologist, employee of the Center for Social and Labor Research, Vladimir Ishchenko.
“The payments that are going around the Internet are really some kind of mistakes, because in many other houses the increase in tariffs is not so shocking. The distribution of these payments is obviously part of a planned campaign, the purpose of which is to lift people up,” he said.
Also, according to the expert, attempts by the authorities to extinguish these protest sentiments are clearly visible.
“There is real panic on the part of the authorities, which results in these fake plans “Shatun”, where they want to include everyone who speaks out against the authorities. There are obvious attempts to use protest sentiments, but also visible attempts by the authorities to cool them down by any means,” Ishchenko said.
He expressed confidence that even if now dissatisfaction with tariffs does not lead to mass protests, government policy will still lead to a social explosion.
“Even if politicians don’t succeed now, then objectively the situation will deteriorate on its own. This does not require any Russian agents or provocations of the oligarchs. It’s just that the direction in which the country is moving, and the course of power that it is trying to follow, will lead to nowhere. One way or another, we will find ourselves at a dead end and the matter will end in a massive social explosion,” the sociologist noted.
Let us remind you that on November 16, the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine canceled the protests planned for today. Its leader, Grigory Osovoy, said that “the trade unions are not giving up their intentions and will take action in early December.”
