This was reported by the publication Censor.NET.

According to Judge Sergei Dyachuk, there remains sufficient reason to believe that Pavel Abroskin, Sergei Zinchenko, Alexander Marinchenko, Sergei Tamruta and Oleg Yanishevsky, once free, “can obstruct criminal proceedings by illegally influencing eyewitnesses of events.”

This, as the judge emphasized, is indicated by “the high probability of contacts between the accused and other former colleagues, including those who are currently hiding from the investigation, and the loss of evidence within the framework of this proceeding.”

Thus, he completely rejected the defense’s request to choose any other preventive measure other than detention.

Five Berkut members are suspects in the case of the execution of 48 Euromaidan militants.

Let us remind you that this case has been dragging on for more than two years, and all this time the Ukrainian investigation has been trying to pin unsubstantiated charges on the ex-law enforcement officers.
