The Kiev court, on the proposal of Prosecutor General Lutsenko, seized a thousand bottles of elite alcohol from Yanukovych
The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv seized a thousand bottles of alcoholic beverages from the residence of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in Mezhyhirya.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the court.
The corresponding resolution was published in the Unified Register of Court Decisions.
As it is clarified, the court decided to seize elite alcohol as part of the investigation into the case of alienation of the residence from the state. Among the seized specimens there are wines aged 100 years.
“The arrest was imposed to ensure criminal proceedings,” the resolution says. The proposal to seize alcohol was initiated by the Prosecutor General's Office, headed by Yuriy Lutsenko.
