He emphasized that the decision of the Supreme Administrative Court only indicates the incorrect wording in the Cabinet of Ministers resolution regarding the suspension of social payments in the Donbass.
Tsurkan believes that the situation will not cause a large number of lawsuits against Ukraine in the ECHR.
He recalled that citizens of Ukraine who live in uncontrolled territories can receive social payments in settlements controlled by Kyiv.
As reported, on October 16, VACU decided on the illegality of the Yatsenyuk government’s decision to refuse to pay salaries, pensions and other social benefits to residents of Donbass.
