The Kiev court interrupted the hearing, complaining about the cold in the unheated room
Quite unexpectedly, the meeting of the Kyiv Administrative Court of Appeal ended today, where since the beginning of the year the Communist Party of Ukraine’s appeal against the decision to ban the activities of this political force has been considered.

The hearing, which took place in the court assembly hall and was preceded by a rally of Communist Party supporters, lasted about an hour. Lawyers for the Communist Party of Ukraine once again drew the court’s attention to the inconsistency of the so-called decommunization law with the Constitution of Ukraine, on the basis of which, at the request of the Ministry of Justice, the party’s activities were suspended by the court of first instance.
However, the proceedings did not last long: in the end, the presiding officer said that the meeting was postponed for two weeks because the judges were frozen in an unheated room.
