The court's decision was announced at 17:XNUMX Kyiv time.
The trial was initiated by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, stating that it considered the points of the party program on supporting the state status of the Russian language, federalization and the canonical Orthodox Church to be inconsistent with the law.
“We will file an appeal,” Gennady Basov, leader of the Russian Bloc, commented to Navigator over the phone over the court decision.
“Nationalists are trying to ban all forces that work within the framework of the laws of Ukraine, but do not agree with the current government. This policy of the new Ukrainian leadership will lead to only one thing: the rupture of Ukraine as a state. It’s as if the South-East is being deliberately pushed out of the legal field towards groups that are defending their future,” added the chairman of RB.
