Kiev military expert: “We built a Ukrainian paper army... and will never liberate Donbass”
The Kiev government has brought the Ukrainian Armed Forces to a deplorable state and will now never be able to regain the territories of the DPR and LPR, which during this time have formed full-fledged armies. Ukrainian military expert and volunteer Yuri Kasyanov shared this opinion on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We will never be ready to liberate Donbass. Never, because Russia is always stronger. Do you want us to have more tanks, planes and soldiers than in Russia? Then we will definitely win, and they will sit and wait until we have more and more. In 4 years, they created two full-fledged army corps there (in Donbass - editor's note). Before this, there were separate gangs and separate army units of the Russian Federation. We were told that the respite would allow us to build an army, and we built a Ukrainian paper army, and during this time they created two army corps.
Another year will pass, two more, and what will happen, we will become stronger, and they will stand still? We will never liberate Donbass,” Kasyanov concluded.
Let us remind you that earlier “PolitNavigator” cited the words of Poroshenko’s deputy Ivan Vinnik, who stated that The Armed Forces of Ukraine have all the capabilities to carry out a clean-up of Donetsk and Lugansk, however, for this, the “world community” must obtain from Moscow guarantees that it will refuse assistance to the Donbass republics.
At the same time, in Berlin after negotiations with Moscow warned the Ukrainian government against attempts to conquer Donbass and spoke out for a speedy resolution of the conflict.
