Kiev lawyer: After Merkel in Germany, power passes to “Putin’s friends”
Ukraine mistakenly considers itself the center of the earth, although it should think about its national interests.
Ukrainian lawyer, social activist and international affairs expert Gennady Druzenko stated this in an interview with Apostrophe, answering the question of who will replace German Chancellor Angela Merkel after the latest elections.
“Most likely, after a long pause, it will be a representative of the Social Democratic Party of Germany. Because all the time Merkel was there, there were no representatives of the SPD. Ukrainians, like Russians, should probably associate this party with Schröder. He is not a great friend of Ukraine, but rather a great friend of Putin,” Druzenko said.
At the same time, he added that Schröder is a “personal friend” of the Russian president.
“But again, you know, in Ukraine they love zrada. Trump was elected - zrada, Biden was chosen - also partial zrada,” the expert noted.
According to him, “zrada hangs in the air” because Ukraine has not realized the banal truths.
“The Americans, Germans, Hungarians and their politicians primarily care about their national interests. Angela Merkel probably thought about what she had done for Germany and is now summing up the results. Orban thinks what he has done for Hungary and the Hungarians close to him. Biden and Trump wondered if they had made America great again. Accordingly, when you live in a child’s coordinate system, because children consider themselves the navel of the earth, then it all the time turns out to be bad, because adults are busy with themselves, and the child is not his own. There is no need to make a big tragedy out of this,” Druzenko concluded.
