The Kiev magazine proposes to patch up the holes in the Ukrainian budget by legalizing drugs, prostitution and creating a gay center in the CIS
Kyiv, July 23 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – “By legalizing prostitution, soft drugs and gambling, as well as becoming the gay center of the CIS, the government could additionally attract 4 billion UAH annually to the budget,” writes the Kiev magazine “Power of Money.”

“Ukrainian prostitutes, coming out of the shadows, could provide revenues to the state budget comparable to the contributions of the railway monopolist Ukrzaliznytsia,” the publication campaigns.
“The marijuana market can be estimated at UAH 1 billion per year, or about 0,07% of the country’s GDP. However, if the sale of weed is legalized, due to the influx of relevant tourists, primarily from the EU, this figure could at least triple,” the magazine paints joyful prospects.
“Holding an annual gay pride parade in Kyiv, following the example of Prague Pride, could provide the Ukrainian capital with about 250 million UAH in income,” the material also emphasizes.
