Kiev journalist: No one will attack Ukraine, we will destroy ourselves
Ukraine - weak and poor country, no one will attack it - sooner or later the Ukrainian state will destroy itself.
Secretary of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine Sergei Lyamets stated this on air on the Ukrlife Internet channel, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine remains in self-absorption mode, I don’t think it will end with the loss of statehood, because we live by old meanings: “the state is weak, so someone will come and take it over.” In the modern world, there is no need to eliminate sovereignty, but it is beneficial to preserve it and leave Ukraine in the position of “come in whoever wants, take out what you want.”
And people like Zelensky will support this loose environment in which everyone will get what they want. Why attack Ukraine, why give the country an impulse to unite. The country will be left alone because it is killing itself. They fight against the strong, they attack against Israel, there is no need to fight against the weak, but to support and give loans,” Lyamets said.
Let us recall that earlier in Kyiv they stated that Ukraine could don't hopethat in the foreseeable future the country will become a member of the North Atlantic Alliance.
